A WOMAN who bit off her boyfriend's testicles in a drunken row was facing jail last night.
Maria Topp, 44, chomped into DJ Martin Douglas's privates after they returned home from a night out.
He screamed in agony and limped covered in blood to call 999 — but was in so much pain the operator could not understand him.
Martin, 45, needed 19 stitches during emergency surgery to sew his testicles back on and has been left with a four-and-a-half inch scar.
Mum-of-four Topp, of Gateshead, was so drunk she claims she cannot remember what happened in the attack at Martin's home in February.
She pleaded guilty at Newcastle Crown Court yesterday to GBH, which has a maximum sentence of five years in jail. Prosecutor Gavin Doig said Topp originally claimed she ripped the testicles off with her HANDS.
He said: "Her plea now is on the basis she did indeed cause that injury with her teeth."
The couple dated for five years but had regular rows and have now split up.
Topp was bailed until November 11 for sentencing. The judge warned her: "I have no idea what I am going to do with you."
