Najib: Rosmah shopping spree ‘a wildly exaggerated story’

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 2 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has dismissed reports that his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor had spent RM325,000 on a shopping spree in Sydney recently.

“It was a wildly exaggerated story deliberately fabricated to affect people’s perception of their leaders,” he said in a posting on his official Twitter account last night.

He was responding to a question from one of his followers about recent reports from Australia that Rosmah’s estimated bill for designer label clothing by Carl Kapp was around A$100,000 (RM323,000).

Zulkifli is a Malaysian leader of Jemaah Islamiyah, the militant organization blamed for some of Southeast Asia’s deadliest terrorist attacks including the 2002 Bali bombings which killed more than 200 people.

Do not cause havoc in this country because the 2.8 million RELA members will not stand idly by and watch the country descend into chaos,” he said to a chorus of approval from the audience." Firstly, assuming Najib has been quoted correctly, 2.8 million RELA members constitute more than 10% of the population of Malaysia!

Demi Moore suffered convulsions after smoking an undisclosed substance, according to a tape of an emergency call from last Monday.

The 49-year-old actress is described as "semi-conscious, barely" in the recording, which was released by Los Angeles fire officials.

The tape captures the few minutes it took paramedics to arrive as friends gathered round the collapsed star.

In November, she ended her marriage to actor Ashton Kutcher, 33.
